maps to get you around town
Minneapolis is a walking-friendly city, but it is also driver-friendly. There are more than 65,000 parking spaces in downtown Minneapolis. Here's where to stash your car while you explore the city:
On the street: Bring change to feed the parking meters if you plan to park on the street. Parking meters have a variety of hourly rates, limits and time restrictions. Street parking is often hard to find on weekdays and weekend evenings. You should plan to find a ramp during these times.
In a ramp: Parking ramps and garages, like the Target Center ramp among others, cost anywhere from $7 to $20/day depending on location and time of day. Click here to see a map of local parking ramps.
Metro Transit: Minneapolis offers a great Metro Transit system. For more information click here.

One of the best features of downtown Minneapolis is the skyway system. Click here for a map of the skyway. Easy access from the Hilton.
